Talked to my friend John Kim just got back with 4 Tunas over 250lbs + yellow’s in the 40lbs range. He say he had lots of fun but he’s ready to make some money Bass fishing (freshwater)

We have been fishing the Santa Monica Beach and Malibu areas. Found Large Corvina up to 4 1/2 lbs. Perch up to 15 1/2″ Eating Plastics, Lug worms, Ghost shrimp, & Cut Anchovies. Large Perch are biting the hard plastic, small Rapallas looking anchovies. Last weekend 6 of us caught a total of 12 Corvinas in the 3 1/2 lbs range + J.P. was 4 1/2lbs. One Perch was a king size one which measured 16 1/4″ Caught by Daniel Santiago… He was so excited he forgot to go to Wylies and weight that sucker. Oh well see you out at the beach… TommyTuna…
