Looks like were in for some heavy sea this week. Lots of heavy rain in the forecast. Wind conditions are gale force and water spouts and thunder. I guess we’ll have to wait until the front clears. It’s all good because the new year is at the end of the week. We’ll be partying instead of fishing. New updates for fishing after the holidays so keep an eye open for the next posting. See you all in 2005 TommyTuna………

Hermosa Beach, Ca.
December 19th, 2004 by TommyTuna | No Comments | Filed in GeneralWe were out @6:30am @ Hermosa beach, Using Plastics and live worms. Lots of current going down hill. Large waves with the surfer plus Dolfins every where. It was pretty good , Perch were small, about 1/2lbs size and the Yellow fin croakers out in force, giving our tackle a test (6 pound test) It was fun catching and releasing fish. The weather was outstanding 68 degrees with a slight breeze. If you just want to have some fun, early in the morning give it a try, you’ll have fun reguardless, if you catch fish or not… TommyTuna…
Tackle store with great prices
December 14th, 2004 by TommyTuna | No Comments | Filed in GeneralI’ve been going to this tackle store for many years and I need to tell everyone about it. G-Loomis, Shimano, Daiwa, Pro Gear, Cal-Star, Owner Hooks, all the name brand stuff,
CHEAP!!!!! I’ve been all over and no one has great pricing like this.
I’ve talked to the owner and told him about our site, and he’ll give the same pricing to all of you, if you mention this site.

Don’t forget to mention LOONEY TUNAS… He will beat all store pricing… you have nothing to loose/all to gain…
We are going to put some pictures up on some of the sale items… give me a few days….
The Secret Spot
December 14th, 2004 by TommyTuna | No Comments | Filed in GeneralWell, Buddy and I went to check out the secret spot and got skunked. We both needed to buy farmers hats. We have great fishing stories about how we all most caught the big one. We were using Plastics with our secret set up. Pumkin Grub and Anchovy color Plastic. We got bit but no hook sets. When we did or thought we had a hook set it spit the hooks. By the way Seal Beach is nice in the early mornings. Opps its no longer a secret spot….
Winter Weather Sucks
December 4th, 2004 by TommyTuna | No Comments | Filed in General
Wind, Rain, Cold, What else can make us not want to see the ocean? I’ve got some info on a hot spot for Halibut fishing but I haven’t had a good day to go check it out yet. I’ll post when i get out there and hook 1 or 5 or 10… This spot is great for the plastics. Nine beginner and one novice fishermen went out got eleven and but only three keepers. Not bad for two hours of walking the beach…right… I’ll try in the morning if it doesn’t rain to hard………..
